Grants

The National Science Foundation has awarded the Elmhurst College Mathematics Department four grants in recent years.  These highly competitive grants reflect the quality and interests of the Department. The sponsored projects are in the broad areas of teacher enhancement (working with Chicago-Area high school teachers on the use of technology in the mathematics classroom), mathematical pedagogy (using technology to link mathematics and physics), and mathematical research.
